About Us

Dena is a Licensed Practical Nurse with 25 years hospital experience, and a Healing Touch Practitioner. She is an employee of St. Mary's Hospital in Sechelt, where healing touch is offered to patients.

Dena obtained her diploma in Healing Touch in the year 2000. She has many interests in the alternative healing arts, and is furthering her studies in EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique).

Her hobbies include singing and playing guitar at the local coffee houses, and has been a member of Music Makers adult choir for several years.

Dena and her husband Guy have been avid sailors, and sailed to Mexico from the Sunshine Coast in 1994. They love the outdoors, and hike the many trails surrounding their home at Turtle Rock Retreat.

Being a believer in our own intuitive guidance, Dena was fortunate to have a "chance meeting" with the Dalai Lama in Vancouver in 2006, and received a blessing from his holiness.
